We have teamed up with Coillte and Barretstown House for sick children to do
our bit for the environment.
Most operators purchase Carbon Credits from companies who fail to use their yearly allowance.
This merely allows the pollution to continue but at HeliFlite Aviation we see it as an opportunity
to actually remove the Carbon Emissions that we produce from the atmosphere by using Mother
Nature’s natural remedies.
So each year during National Tree Week Coillte has offered to donate the quantity of
Trees needed to offset the Carbon we have produced from flying in the previous year.
These trees will then be planted by the children staying in Barretsown House making
this an annual event for all to be enjoyed, raising awareness of how important it is to
look after the environment for future generations whilst providing a positive educational
day for the children.
